Effect of Mindful Parenting Training for Parents with Children Having Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder on Parenting Stress

Background: Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder affecting both children and their parents. This study aimed to evaluate the effect of mindful parenting training for parents with having attention on stress. Quasi-experimental pre-test–post-test control group design has been implemented. A purposive sample used select 100 (mothers or fathers) disorder. carried out at psychiatric outpatient clinic Menoufia University Hospital Shebin El-kom District, Governorate, Egypt. Three tools were gather data; structured interviewing questionnaire assess socio-demographic characteristics characteristics, Parenting Stress Index – Short Form, Interpersonal mindfulness in scale. The results revealed that there was a highly statistically significant reduction total mean score stress among after intervention compared where p value (p = 0.001), statistical improvement level group.
